Consistent quality over time

I've bought several cards from Equal Eats over the years, first a peanut allergy card, then a shellfish allergy card, and most recently a vegan translation card for a friend. Each time, the quality has been really consistent. The translations are always accurate, and the plastic cards hold up well to travel. I keep coming back because I know what to expect – a reliable product that helps a lot when dining out in other countries. This latest order was just as good as my first.

Reliable for dairy allergy

Needed a dairy allergy card. Ordered a digital one. Arrived quickly. Clear translation. Worked well on my recent trip. Happy with it.

Got my gluten free card quick

So I needed a gluten free dining card for my vacation next month. Found this site and it was super easy to pick what I needed. Got the digital card, came in an email pretty fast. It works on my phone, no issues. Haven't used it at a restaurant yet but it looks good. Glad I got it sorted.

Smooth process, reliable product

I ordered a plastic tree nut allergy card for an upcoming trip. The ordering process on the website was very straightforward, and I appreciated the clear options for customization. Shipping took about 6 days to reach me in California, which was within their estimated timeframe. The card itself feels durable and the translation looked professional; I showed it to a friend who is a native speaker, and she confirmed it was well-phrased. I haven't needed to contact support, which means everything went smoothly from start to finish. It's a simple product but seems well-executed.

Good value for a custom card

I was looking for an affordable way to manage my soy allergy while traveling. The custom food allergy translation card was exactly what I needed. I signed up for their newsletter and got a first order discount, which made the price even better. It felt like a really good deal for peace of mind.

Mostly good, one small hiccup

My experience with ordering a celiac disease translation card was mostly positive. The website was easy to navigate, and customizing the card was simple. The translation looked good, and the plastic card felt sturdy enough for travel. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, about 8 days to the East Coast, but it did arrive before my trip. My only minor suggestion would be for more frequent shipping updates. Overall, it's a very useful product for safe dining abroad, and the price was fair.

Hey, wondering if these cards are actually legit. Like, are the translations properly done or just Google Translate stuff?

I Ian W. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I used them for my trip to Japan and had zero issues. The restaurant staff understood perfectly. They say native speakers verify them, and it felt like it.

They're legit. I travel a lot for work and my dairy allergy is no joke. Never had a problem with their cards in Europe or South America. Definitely not Google Translate, those would get me in trouble lol.

how long does it usually take to get the plastic cards shipped to, say, California? Need them before my trip next month.

K Kevin Garcia 1 month ago
Mine took about a week to get to LA, I ordered it on a Monday and had it by the next Tuesday.

It depends on the shipping option you pick, but standard shipping to the West Coast is usually within 5-7 business days from what I remember. If you're cutting it close, maybe opt for express if they have it.

Thinking of getting a few different cards for a family trip, one for nuts, one for gluten. Do they offer any kind of discount if I buy more than one at a time?

E Elizabeth Anderson 1 week ago
Yep, they usually have bundle deals. I got a physical and digital combo for like 15% off a while back.

Pretty sure they do multi-card savings. I'd check their site directly or sign up for their newsletter, sometimes they send out codes for that kinda thing too.

Anyone tried using one of these compared to the ones from Allergy Translation Cards? Trying to figure out which one is better for a trip to Italy.

I Ian 3 weeks ago
I've used both. Equal Eats felt a bit more professional in its wording, and I liked that I could customize it more easily for my specific combo of allergies. Allergy Translation Cards were fine, but Equal Eats just felt a bit more robust.

Equal Eats seemed to have more language options and better customization when I was looking a few months ago. No personal experience with Allergy Translation Cards though, sorry!
